Developed Screen Design

I'd really appreciate some feedback on my developed screen design. This is the template for the home page. I'm aware some alignments need re-adjusting and spacing etc.

Thanks!

Looking good Michelle! I like the colours involved- I agree with what you said in the seminar group the other day about not making the old people feel old!!

Once it's 'perfected' that'll make a really good design!

This is nice.. Im curious how you could relate the lemon color with the idea presented in the site. It gives a fresh feeling.

There are some free flash templates available in sites like hugeh.com

Your screen design is really good, the colours go well together. I like how you have used the green boards, it helps break up the web page into sections and it doesn’t make your design look like it as lots of white space.

Loving the colour its bright and welcoming, which is exacaly what is needed. I think it is perfct to use bright colours as it welcomes the guests onto the site in the first place.

Wow, I have to say I really like this site, it's got a cohesive concept that is carried on throughout. Definitely a coporate identity that would be able to be encoporated into many other things surrounding the website.

It's quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye which is funny for such bright colours.. you've done them subtley and managed to soften them up. Definitely a fresh clean look.

Realy nice work michelle. Loving the expression, Lemon Squeezy. Everything also seems to be in its correct place also....

Suddenly I get the feeling of been outclassed although this isn't a competition.....

I have to say although I'm not the biggest lover of green and yellow, you've brought them together in a really good way on your design. The whole screen is simple and aesthetically pleasing on the eye which is a key point for your target audience.

I think that the green band going across the page for the navigation looks a little out of place. Just making it go the width of the header image would look more cohesive.

Also, I question the need for 2 lots of navigation. I feel the top one (in the green band) looks better, but then I don’t know what would go into the main body of the site. Possibly, text on the left side of the page and pictures on the right? Just a thought.

I really like it! I have seen it in your sketchbook and i think you have pulled it off nicely.

you have obviously thought alot about where to use the 2 colours and I think it works.

Well done!
